Smart Shooter 3 works with all recent Canon EOS DSLR and Nikon DSLR cameras.
Each different model of camera supports a different set of features. When Smart Shooter 3 connects to a camera, it will query the camera to determine its capabilities, and then adjust the application's features accordingly. For example not all Nikon DSLRs support video recording or bulb mode during tethering, so for such cameras these features are disabled in the app.

Limitations of Nikon D3xxx cameras
The Nikon D3xxx range of cameras (including the D3000, D3100, D3200, and D3300) have limited capabilities during tethered operation. In particular, liveview is not possible with the D3000 and D3100, and although liveview is possible with the D3200 and D3300, it is not possible to zoom the liveview image or drive the focus motor. We recommend avoiding this range of cameras if more advanced tethering features are required.
